JOBSEEKERS - THE HOORS

Rate: 8 Stars

I have heard Jobseekers before and from what I remember it was really good. It's not that I'm disappointed right now. You hear that they have taken some influences from early UK Subs and Exploited, I think and it's groups that I like and if that's true, it's no problem for you in any case because I think it's groups that have added a lot to punk . Jobseekers does the same with their 7 songs which are a cascade of spit, anger and fast music and it sounds just like I think punk should sound… .dangerous. I have never heard The Hoors, but with songs like The rise of the machines, Meals without Squeals and Countdown to ejaculation, there is another group to tick off that you have heard. I'm happy about that and this group is tough and has a tough singer with a voice that fits perfectly with this music. They call themselves The Soft Cell of punk rock and that may be so. It's fast anyway and everyone who loves fast punk rock in English should just check out this record because if you miss it you will be disappointed. 12/8-2020
